Integrating Flic Buttons with Zeeno

Zeeno integrates seamlessly with Flic Buttons, enabling you to trigger tasks such as Go To or Come Here at the press of a button.

Setup and Integration Steps

1. Enable the Flic App on Zeeno

• Log in as the Root User of your Temi Center account.

• Enable the Flic App here: Temi Flic App.
  Note: This installs the base Flic App on your Zeeno.

2. Upgrade the Flic App (Manual APK Installation)

The upgraded version of the Flic App is not available on the Temi App Store and must be installed manually via APK.

Prerequisites

• ADB Platform Tools
  If you don’t have these installed, download here:

Installation Instructions

1. Download the Flic APK file to your Platform Tools folder. 
   FlicApp APK

2. On your Zeeno (Go Robot)

   • Go to Settings > Developer Tools > ADB Connection to Temi.

   • Open the port and note the IP address displayed.

3. On your computer (where ADB is installed and the APK downloaded):

   • Open Command Prompt in the Platform Tools folder.

   • Connect to Zeeno using the following command:

     .\adb connect XX.XX.XXX.XXX

     Replace XX.XX.XXX.XXX with your Zeeno’s IP address (e.g., . \adb connect 10.10.100.105).

4. Once connected, install the APK using:

   .\adb install flicappapk.apk

5. On your Zeeno, confirm the Flic App is installed.

3. Configure the Flic Hub and Buttons

1. Connect the Flic Hub to your PC.

2. Install the Flic Mobile App on your phone.

3. Open the Flic App and add the Hub.

4. In Temi Center, create a sequence for the desired action. For example:

   • If installing the button at Production to send Zeeno to Reception:

     • Add a Go To Location sequence and choose Reception as the target location.

     • Configure preferences as needed.

     • Save the sequence as Go to Reception and add a tag (e.g., Reception).

5. The created sequence will appear in the Flic App.

6. Pair the Flic Button:

   • Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until it appears in the app.

7. Configure the Button in the Flic App:

   • On the Push tab, set the URL for the integration.  The format is:
     http://xx.xx.xx.xx:9000/button?id=tag,  in this example, reception
     
     
       The IP Address is displayed on the Flic App on the robot.  
     

8. Rename the button to reflect its designated location.

9. Test and confirm functionality.

10. Repeat for all additional buttons as needed.
