How to Upgrade Your Zeeno Software 

This knowledge base will guide you on how to update your Zeeno app for the first time. In the first few steps, you’ll go through some screens you’ll only have to click through the first time. When prompted for an update, you’ll receive a notification on the top left of your Zeeno app with a bell icon letting you know it’s time for an update. 

Step 1: Click the bell icon, then a pop up will show that says update available. You’ll want to click the update option. 

Step 2: Once you click update, the next pop up reads: “Allow Zeeno Robotics to access photos, media, and files on your device?” Click allow. 

Step 3: A screen should now display “Install Unknown Apps with a toggle to the right of the screen that appears to be switched off or grayed out. Next to “Allow from this source” you’ll see the toggle to the right, switch the toggle on. 

Step 4: Once you have switched the toggle from step 3 on, you’ll want to hit the back arrow in the top left of the screen to get off of this screen. 

Step 5: Now that we’ve allowed the software update, you’ll see a familiar popup that says “Do you want to install an update to this existing application? Your existing data will not be lost.” You’ll want to select “Install”. 

Step 6: Once you select “Install” you’ll notice the Zeeno Robotics app has closed. After the app closes, you’ll receive a notification from the Zeeno Robotics app on the middle of the screen that reads “App Installed”. Congratulations, you’ve now updated your Zeeno app!
